A thief managed to gather enough of an elderly Grand Junction woman's personal information to allow the thief to steal $8,000 of the woman's money.

The thief used the elderly woman's personal information to withdraw the money from the woman's local bank account.

Crime Stoppers of Mesa County reports the theft happened on November 28, 2017 at about 2:40 p.m. when the female suspect withdrew $8,000 from the victim's account at Wells Fargo Bank at 359 Main Street in Grand Junction.
