Colorado Man Places Ad on His Truck to Help Wife Get Kidney

A Colorado man placed an ad on his pickup truck in an effort to find his wife, who suffers from Lupus, a new liver and the a photo of the truck has since gone viral.

This photo was taken in the Denver area and shows the phone number to the University of Colorado to help Michelle Stewart, who suffers from Lupus, find a new liver. Stewart stated on reddit she has been searching for a donor for over a year.

Stewart posted on reddit:

“Thank you. The support on the Internet has been amazing, I’ve gone from no hope and struggling to share my story to millions of people seeing it. I’m without words. I feel very blessed and honored.”

Stewart has been dealing with Lupus since she was 13 years old and has suffered a stroke, seizures, temporary paralysis, chemotherapy and two comas.
