‘Coffee With a Cop’ Sessions Abound in Grand Junction

There is yet another "Coffee With a Cop" meeting coming to Grand Junction in the near future. We told you about the session coming to CMU on October 3. Another session has been added at a local coffee shop on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

The next Coffee With a Cop is coming to Monument Village Coffee at 2148 Broadway Ste A2. That's the coffee shop in the same plaza as Monument Fitness. Mesa County Sheriff's Office Deputies will be on hand October 2 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m..

These are my top five reasons why you should attend:

• No speeches or agendas, just questions and answers
• The coffee is always good
• It's a chance to ask questions in an informal setting
• It’s an opportunity to discuss matters that don’t necessitate a call or visit to the Police Department
• It’s a great opportunity to connect with local law enforcement

These gatherings are well worth your time. The setting is very informal, and as a result, you're able to speak freely and express any concerns you may have.
