A marijuana businessman wants to start a specialized farmers market for pot here in Colorado.

According to the AP, the CEO of Weed Maps and managing partner of Ghost Group, Justin Hartfield, wants to give vendors more access to consumers and give consumers a greater choice of vendors, saying the Boulder County Farmers' Market,

would be the perfect place to have a proposal go through

He also says that this market would be a model for similar institutions around the country, but right now he's getting a sense of how politicians and officials would view his proposal.

According to the Daily Camera one Boulder attorney says, there may be too much opposition.

You're not going to be able to buy weed off the street. That's drug dealing.
