Sweet Adelines To Perform Tuesday

For all the music lovers out there, here’s an event just for you.

The Grand Mesa Chorus / Sweet Adelines will present a special Friends and Family Night Concert at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26at the Redlands United Methodist Church, 527 Village Way in Grand Junction.

This concert is considered a dress rehearsal performance for the group, as they prepare for the annual regional Sweet Adelines competition, scheduled for April 6.

The chorus will perform two of their “competition songs” that they will use at the actual competition. In addition, Sweet Adelines will perform a variety of songs from Blues to Rock ‘n Roll and even a Gospel song, all in the classic a capella barbershop harmony.

Tuesday’s performance is geared towards the entire family, and is free of charge.
