Last Remnants of Snow on Western Colorado’s Audubon Trail

With recent temperatures hitting well into the 50's, only a few remnants of snow remain on Grand Junction's Audubon Trail. Where there was snow barely a week ago, you will now find freshly planted seedlings.

The reservoirs along the trail still freeze over at night, but if you walk in the trail in the midday, you can hear the ice cracking as the temperature rises.

Only a few patches of snow remain, with most found on North facing slopes.
