Guitarist rejoice! The legendary guitar god Eric Clapton has joined forces with Fender to release another tribute guitar: "Brownie."

"Brownie" refers to a Fender Stratocaster featuring a two-color sunburst finish, or what some manufacturers refer as "tobacco sunburst." Eric Clapton purchased the original "Brownie," a very well worn 1956 Strat, on May 7th, 1967, at Sound City in London. Days later, Clapton and the rest of "Cream" traveled to New York to record their second album.

"Brownie" comes complete with a black "Derek and the Dominos" case, and includes a numbered certificate of authenticity hand-signed by Clapton himself. Also included is the 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition box set of "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs," and a Fender Custom Shop story and photo album booklet.

"Brownie" is a limited edition, and will be available starting March 31st at select outlets.
