A woman stole music gear from a vehicle then took the items to a Grand Junction Pawn shop attempting to sell them. Now police are trying to identify who she is.

According to Crime Stoppers of Mesa County, sometime between 10 p.m. Tuesday, June 5 and 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 6 one or more people broke into a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of North Avenue and stole a wood finish Yamaha APX500 guitar in a black case and a Boss KTN-MINI amplifier.

After the victim reported the theft to police, they decided to visit a pawn shop. As luck would have it, a woman in her early to mid twenties with long brown braided hair, black glasses and a 1/4 left shoulder/arm tattoo had been to the shop trying to sell the stolen items.

The woman was captured on the pawn shop's video surveillance camera with the stolen items. In the surveillance video the woman was wearing a purple tank top, yoga pants and a CMU baseball cap.
