Did you watch the Grammys last weekend? Did you catch the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony? If so, perhaps you saw this former Grand Junction resident winning his 2nd Grammy.

Kalani Pe'a, a Colorado Mesa University graduate, just walked away with his 2nd Grammy for Regional Roots Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. He picked up the award for his album No 'Ane'I.

Check out the video at the top. This is a very memorable Grammy acceptance speech. I think you'll find the part at 2:05 to be particularly memorable.

This is Pe'a's 2nd Grammy win in three years. He picked up the Grammy in the same category at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards for his album E Walea.

Immediately after his win, Pe'a sent this message to his fans via Facebook:

Mahalo! I love you all. - Kalani Pe'a

While living in Grand Junction, Pe'a worked as an assignment editor at KJCT Channel 8.
