Warm Fuzzy Friends are Waiting for You at Roice-Hurst Humane Society
Fall is a great time for pet owners. The cooler weather makes both want to curl up together on the couch or have a four-legged friend at your feet to keep your toes warm. Fall is also a great time to adopt from an animal shelter if you don't have a pet.
I'd like you to meet three special animals, Nina, So-Low, and Maggie Mae who are all ready to find a permanent loving home.
These and more lovable dogs and cats are available at Roice-Hurst Humane Society. You can visit the shelter on Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at 362 28 Road in Grand Junction.
Nina
1-Year-Old Female Terrier American Pit bull MixAt just a few months over 1-year-old, Nina still has a lot of puppy in her. She's a fun-loving, high-energy dog and needs a family that can keep up with her. With some obedience training, she could easily mature into a precious family pet.
So Low
8-Year-Old Terrier American Pit Bull MixSo-Low is a senior who is looking for a new home. He loves to be around people but isn't particularly friendly with other pets. With that in mind, So-Low should be the only pet in the family.
Maggie Mae
1-Year-Old Domestic Medium Hair MxMaggie Mae is a young mom who spent some time in foster care with her three kittens. Now that they're weaned and in good care, she's ready for a permanent home. Maggie is sweet and playful and finds chew toys, strings, and laser pointers. She's lived with other cats and dogs and would love to join your family.
