Mesa County Public Health announced two more cases of COVID-19 in Mesa County, bringing the total to four.

A male of the age of 40 and a male over the age of 60 both tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The MCPH states that these new cases are not related to one another, nor are they related to the first two cases in Mesa County.

The individuals are isolated in their homes, and MCPH is in contact with the individuals to identify any close contacts.

Mesa County Public Health Executive Director, Jeff Kuhr, said in a release:

Public health intervention takes everyone following guidelines and doing their part. We know this virus is in our community, we can take action to prevent our case counts from continuing to double on a daily basis.
