Three Cats a Mom Would Be Proud to Have For a Pet

Mother's Day is almost here and figuring out what to give mom can be difficult. The companionship and love of one of these wonderful cats may be something she would really enjoy.

I'm not suggesting you surprise your mom by bringing her a cat, but you can surprise her with a visit to the Roice-Hurst Humane Society to see if there's a cat she'd love to have and be proud to call her own.

For Moms who want to take home a cat, Roice-Hurst will give a 25% discount on the adoption fee. If mom adopts a momma cat, the entire fee will be waived. The shelter, located at 362 28 Road, is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. That means you and your mom can visit on Mother's Day.

The three cats featured are just a few of the animals - Roice-Hurst has dogs, too - that are available for adoption.
