International Space Station

This is the first time in almost a decade that the U.S. will be going to space.

Colorado is definitely not one of the places that come to mind when you think about space exploration, but it should be.

As the International Space station orbits the earth, the American astronaut currently aboard has been snapping pictures of the earth like a tourist including one that shows Denver and other cities on the Front Range.

When you're an astronaut on the International Space Station, you don't have a lot of the comforts you have on earth. So, you have to get real creative about how you do things, like washing your hair, for instance. Astronaut Karen Nyberg demonstrates how she keeps her hair looking good while on the ISS.

When I started watching this experiment in space, I was expecting a very predictable result. Boy was I wrong!
