The Grand Junction Police Department is looking for a suspect who stole an Asus Tablet from the downtown branch of the Mesa County Public Library.

According to Crime Stoppers, on July 31 around 4:30 p.m. a patron of the library left behind her Asus Tablet with a black leather cover and keyboard. Library surveillance video shows an unidentified male take the Tablet from the self-check-out area.

The suspect is a white male in his 20s with short, light colored hair. The suspect is approximately 5-feet 9-inches tall, weighs around 160 pounds and has tattoos covering his left forearm and both calves.

At the time of the theft, the suspect was wearing a red t-shirt, plaid shorts and a baseball cap. There was also a young boy accompanying the suspect.

Any information given to Crime Stoppers is completely anonymous and can earn you up to a $1,000 reward if the information leads to an arrest.
