No one loves the COVID-19 restrictions we've had for almost a year now (we assume, at least), but a study says Colorado has been a top state for safety during the pandemic.

Wallethub looked at key factors like each state's vaccination distribution rate, positivity rate, hospitalizations, deaths and transmission.

Overall, Colorado ranked third, with a score of 71.96 out of 100, beat only by Vermont (79.93) and Alaska (95.43).

Colorado was also placed in the 'low death, high vaccination' category. Colorado ranked 27th lowest in transmission rate, 12th highest in vaccination,12th lowest in positive testing rate and 6th lowest in death rate.

The study also stated that Red States (Rep) were safer than Blue States (Dem.), noting that size and population are factors as well. You can see the full study here.
