Sam’s Club Offering ‘Hero Shopping Hours’ No Membership Required
While we have all dealt with uncomfortable and unfamiliar situations as we get through the COVID-19 pandemic it has been fantastic to see lots of local businesses step up and help out. Whether it was our friends at Zoup offering free soup to health care workers each Monday in the month of April. Also, Little Caesars offering free lunch combos to first responders and health care personnel. And I can't forget the free lunch that is available to everyone in Grand Junction next Tuesday (April 21st) by a local food truck.
These last few weeks have been difficult on everybody but it's remarkable to see our community coming together like this. And now we are finding out from the Good News Network that Sam's Club will be offering medical employees 'hero' shopping hours in their stores each Sunday morning from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. and a normal Sam's Club membership is NOT required to make purchases.
There will be complimentary face masks being offered to shoppers entering the store for the special hero hours. These special hours will be used at all Sam's Club's locations in the country and will remain in place until further notice. This is obviously something Sam's Club didn't need to offer but they are trying to help those working the frontlines to keep this virus from spreading anymore.
If you know any health care workers please share this information with them as they deserve to take advantage of these perks being offered to them during this time.
