Pistol-Packing Drone is Freakin’ Scary

Surveillance drones cameras are creepy enough, now, someone figured out how to mount and fire a handgun with one.

It's well-known the military uses drones to kill and destroy enemy targets. But, this homemade version appears to be either an accident waiting to happen or certain trouble.

I'll admit, there's a bit of awe in the fact that someone figured out how to remotely fire a semi-automatic weapon while simultaneously keeping the drone in the air in spite of the recoil from the handgun.

I'm not opposed to guns, but the practical use of this gun-toting drone completely escapes me. We can hope this is an experiment, albeit with the potential of lethal consequences, rather than a means to a sinister end.
