Pilot Says He Will ‘Self-Rescue’ Following Western Mesa County Plane Crash
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office reports the pilot involved in this afternoon's crash in Western Mesa County has said he will "self-rescue" and have a friend of family member come pick him up.
Search and Rescue shut down operations today at 4:10 pm after the pilot requested they "stand down."
A rural deputy and Mesa County Search and Rescue have been dispatched to Glade Park following reports of a crashed Cessna 150. The pilot, the only person on board, was unharmed.
