Olathe Man’s Disappearance Remains a Mystery
An Olathe man who disappeared about three weeks ago has not been found and authorities have no clues about where he might be.
The Montrose County Sheriff's Department was contacted on September 5 requesting a welfare check on Olathe resident Stanley Gardner. The Sheriff's Office immediately contacted a family member who, with the assistance of a friend, went to Gardner's home in the 62000 block of Falcon Road. They searched both the house and the property and were unable to locate Gardner.
Additional searches by family, friends, the Montrose County Sheriff's Office, Olathe Fire Protection District, and the Montrose Sheriff's Posse have all been unsuccessful.
Gardner is 78-years-old, 5-feet 10-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown and grey hair and green eyes. Authorities are asking people to alert them if they believe they have seen Gardner anytime in the last few weeks by calling the Montrose County Sheriff's Office at 970-252-4023 with the information.
