November Teacher of the Month is From West Middle School
The Townsquare Media November Teacher of the Month award for Mesa County Valley School District 51 made its way to Grand Junction's West Middle School.
Congratulations to 8th-grade teacher Bryan Bell, who was nominated and then received the most votes to receive the award which includes a wonderful gift basket provided by our amazing sponsors. Pictured with me above is Mr. Bell, and Natalie Redding, Market President, Townsquare Media Western Colorado.
Mr. Bell has been at West Middle School for an unbelievable 26 years. He told me he has voted for others in our teacher of the month nomination and voting process, but was completely shocked to learn he was this month's honoree. Some staff members at the school told us Mr. Bell is very deserving of this award and were most happy to see him get the honor.
The Teacher of the Month gift basket includes the following:
- $50 gift card to Village Inn
- $50 Visa gift card from Farmers Insurance the Josh DeWitt Agency
- $20 Starbucks Gift Card and an insulated tumbler from Carville's Automart
- 1-hour massage from Rimrock Wellness
- Fresh fruit bouquet from Willy's Wild Carvings
- Skating party for 30 at Spin City with a pizza party from the Garlic Knot
- Insulated Tumbler and $20 Starbucks gift card from Carville’s Automart
- Gift basket from All Copy Products.
Other sponsors include Student Transportation of America and Colorado Legacy Coffee.
