Montrose Police Trying to Bag Purse Thief

The Montrose Police Department is looking for a man who stole a woman's purse and is asking for help finding him.

The purse theft happened on April 26 at the Montrose Walmart. A woman inadvertently left her purse in the shopping cart when she returned it to one of the parking lot cart racks.

When she went back to get the purse, it was gone. The purse also hadn't been turned over to the store. Police investigating the purse disappearance found a man (pictured) took the purse from the cart.

The purse thief was last seen leaving the area in a white minivan.
