A crash Tuesday (July 29) morning saw a vehicle burst into flames.

The vehicle rolled over on I-70 near Airport Road and then burst into flames with the driver still inside of the vehicle.

A woman passing by said she saw gas coming from the back of the vehicle and was afraid it might explode. As she began filming the incident a number of people rushed up to the vehicle and tried to get the man out of it, many of them carrying fire extinguishers.

As they sprayed the vehicle down, the flames began to subside enough for them to open the door and get the man out. Not knowing his injuries from the rollover, they just wanted to pull him to safety and after about a minute, they were successful.

According to Aurora Fire and Rescue, the nan was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for burns.
