Man Divorces Wife of 2 Hours Because of Snapchat Snafu
You gotta be careful what you share on social media.
A man in Saudi Arabia divorced his wife of two hours after he discovered his bride broke their prenuptial agreement by posting pictures of their ceremony on Snapchat.
The bride’s brother admitted his sister dropped the ball:
There was a prenuptial agreement between my sister and her fiancé that she would not use social-media applications such as Snapchat, Instagram or Twitter to post or send her pictures. It was included in the marriage contract and became binding. Regretfully, my sister did not honor the pledge and used Snapchat to share pictures from the wedding ceremony with her female friends, resulting in the shocking decision by the groom to cancel their marriage and call for divorce."
Both families argued over the decision, but, in the end, the marriage went up in flames, which is just as well because you just know they were going to break up when the husband learned his wife shared their Netflix password.
It follows a pattern of ridiculous reasons for seeking to bail on a marriage, including one earlier this month in which a husband filed for divorce after he saw his wife without makeup.
