Grand Junction's Lunch LIzard will start offering weekend meals for kids to take home with them today, Friday, June 5. The Lunch Lizard will do this every Friday, which gives our Grand Valley kids the opportunity to pick up four extra meals.

According to District 51:

In addition to their regular Friday meals, Lunch Lizard youth (18 & under) at specific sites can pick up two to-go breakfasts and two to-go lunches to take home for Saturday and Sunday.

District 51 also provided when and where kids can pick up their extra meals on Fridays, out of the 17 sites, only four stops will not have weekend meals. The four stops that will not offer weekend meals are Eureka! McConnell Science Center, Lincoln Orchard Mesa Elementary School, West Middle School, and 13 Brix Cider Bistro.

There are new times for certain stops and you can find the full Lunch Lizard summer schedule here.
