We've lost count of how many times Darlene Love has performed on the "Late Show" but Christmas wouldn't be well, Christmas for fans of the show without the annual appearance of Love singing her classic, "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)".Darlene Love is scheduled to appear on the show tonight, (Dec 21), singing her holiday classic. She's performed the song on the show almost every year since 1993, the year Letterman began hosting the show. Add to that her appearances on Letterman's NBC "Late Night" show from 1986-1992, and you'd get the impression this is David Letterman's favorite Christmas song.

"Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" originally appeared on the Phil Spector produced 1963 album "A Christmas Gift for You".

Besides the holiday classic, Love is best known as a member of the group the Crystals and the voice of their 1962 hit "He's A Rebel".
