This Is Why Jumping Subway Tracks Is a Terrible Idea
In the pantheon of bad ideas, this is right near the top.
A woman in New York City decided to try and jump from one side of a subway platform to the other by leaping right over the track. Did it go well? Since you're reading this, it's safe to say it did not.
Even if you've never been in a New York subway station, you know you can see all kinds of people doing all kinds of things -- we're looking at you half-naked minstrel playing "I Will Always Love You" on a 1986 Casio keyboard with a half-dozen missing keys -- but even this is a bit much.
It's unclear what kind of injuries the woman sustained, but we feel confident saying "broken face" could be one diagnosis.
