How Many Casinos Are there in the State of Colorado?

While Colorado isn't necessarily known as a hub for gambling, there are a few very well-known places across the state that are home to a number of casinos.

The main three towns in which casino gambling is legal are Black Hawk, its close neighbor Central City, and the old mining town of Cripple Creek.

Casino, Horseshoe Black Hawk, Monarch Casino Resort Spa, Red Dolly Casino, Saratoga Casino Black Hawk, Sasquatch Casino, The Gilpin Casino, The Lodge Casino at Black Hawk, Wild Card Casino & Saloon, and Z Casino.

Next, we'll head just up the road to the historic Central City, Colorado.

Central City is home to a total of seven casinos currently operating including Century Casino & Hotel Central City, Dostal Alley Brewpub & Casino, Dragon Tiger Casino, Easy Street Casino, Famous Bonanza, Grand Z Casino Hotel, and Teller House.

Casinos in Cripple Creek Colorado

Now we'll head over to historic Cripple Creek, Colorado. Cripple Creek is home to a total of 10 casinos including Brass Ass Casino, Bronco Billy's Casino, Colorado Grande Casino, Double Eagle Hotel & Casino, Johnny Nolon's Casino, Lady Luck Hotel & Casino, McGills Hotel & Casino, Midnight Rose Hotel & Casino, and Wildwood Hotel & Casino.

Other Casinos in Colorado

While the above three towns are the main gambling hubs in Colorado, there are also a couple of Native American-owned casinos that are largely overlooked.

These casinos include Sky Ute Casino Resort in Ignacio, Colorado, and Ute Mountain Casino Hotel in Towaoc, Colorado.
