Western Colorado's Backyard

Where else on Earth can you enjoy the world's largest flattop mountain, practically in your backyard? From the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park to the Colorado National Monument, life in Fruita, Grand Junction, and Montrose rank high above any of the nine states I have lived in over the years, and I know people who have lived here their entire lives feel the same way.

The Downside of Home Ownership in Colorado

While we all know Colorado is far from perfect, it is the place we call home and the state we love. The same goes for whichever town you live in on the Western Slope.
