If you've ever been to Ball Arena, formerly Pepsi Center, to see a Nuggets, Avalanche, or Mammoth game, you know just how insane it can be. Playoff Ball Arena though, is a whole different animal.

Built in Denver, Colorado back in 1999, the former Pepsi Center, now Ball Arena, is no stranger to extremely loud and crazy crowds. Being the home arena for the current NBA Champion Denver Nuggets, three-time Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche, and two-time NLL Cup Champion Colorado Mammoth, the Ball Arena is the house of champions.

Be it a show, or a crazy professional sporting event, the Ball Arena is truly one of the loudest arenas in the world. And as far as sports go, it's one of the toughest arenas to play in for visiting teams. But until you've been to a playoff game in Ball Arena, you've not seen or heard anything yet...

There was a stretch in the 2010s that the only team making the playoffs in Ball Arena was the Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse team. Now in 2024, each of Ball Arena's home teams has hoisted their respective championship trophies in the last three years, and a big part of that is the fans.

I've now been to a playoff game for the Mammoth (duh), the Avalanche, and just this year on my birthday, I got to see the Nuggets live for a playoff game for the first time, and I'll be honest, there's nothing like playoff action inside of the Ball Arena!

From the classic playoff white pom poms at Avs games to the rally towels, and now those fantastic synced-LED wristbands, it's all part of creating an unmatched playoff atmosphere. Add in our crazy and passionate Colorado sports fanbase, and it truly makes it the LOUDEST HOUSE in sports. Why is Ball Arena the best besides the noise and the incredible ingame atmosphere and entertainment?

Four numbers... 5280. That's how high we are above sea level, and the opposing teams just aren't ready for it. By the 4th quarter or third period, most visiting teams are gassed, while our guys are more accustomed to it and just lay the smackdown.

While both the Avalanche and Nuggets dropped our first two home games in the second round, the Nuggets bounced back huge at Ball in game 5 against Minnesota to take a 3-2 series lead. Can the Avs now do the same on the road for game 5 and bring it back home for game 6?

The best teams in sports are the ones who can face adversity, and even with their backs against the wall, find a way to win. We just saw the Nuggets do it, we've seen the Mammoth do it, and now we believe the Avs can do it too. Especially if they can get back home, to the house of champions, Ball Arena. Go Avs Go, and Go Nuggets!

Miss the Denver Nuggets Championship Parade? Here Are Some Pix

The 2023 NBA Championship Parade for our Denver Nuggets was absolutely spectacular. Firetrucks from all over Colorado loaded up with Nuggets players and staff and took over 17th Street in Downtown Denver. Here are some pix of the action that we caught at 17th and Wazee just outside of Union Station.
