Northern Colorado finally joined the list of cities/towns/areas with a Smalls Sliders in October of 2026 when one opened in the Johnstown/Loveland area.

Their slogan is "Making Your Day a Small Bit Better:" Smalls Sliders. The company began in 2019 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with some help from Super Bowl Champion Drew Brees. The founder wanted to take sliders from being a "snack" or an afterthought to being something "Big."

The first Smalls Sliders for Colorado opened in late 2025 in Northglenn, near I-25 and 120th Avenue; almost a year later came the Johnstown location at Johnstown Plaza off of Highway 34 and Thompson Parkway, sneaking in just east of Ziggi's. It was easy to fit there; their bright orange "Cans," as they call them, are only about 800 square feet.

I can attest that those small cheeseburger sliders are good: I had my first when I went in just after they opened. I ordered the "OG" combo #1, which was a Slider, waffle fries, and a medium drink (they have Coke products). My meal was $9.57 total; I should have gone for the two-slider combo; it wasn't much more.

You can use the drive-thru lanes, or you can go inside to dine in or grab takeout. It is pretty small in there, without question; their "occupancy" sign says that 64 can fit inside, though I wouldn't want to be in there with more than 20. They do have garage doors that they can open and let fresh air in on nice days, so that helps.
