Free Thanksgiving Lunch at Downtown Greeley's Doug's Diner
Hopefully, we'll hear about more restaurants opening their doors on Thanksgiving to provide a free meal on Thanksgiving like Doug's Diner at 801 9th Street in Downtown, which opened in 2017. This Doug's Diner is one of the 13 Doug's owned by Rick Bruening and Linda Hernandez. The Doug's in Downtown Loveland is owned/operated separately from the other Doug's.

When is the Free Thanksgiving Lunch in Downtown Greeley?
We were contacted by the newest manager of Greeley's Doug's Diner, Patricia Serrano, to let us know that they'd be serving a free lunch on Thanksgiving Day from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. They asked if we would spread the news about the lunch to the local community; I said, "Why not?"
What Will the Free Thanksgiving Lunch in Greeley Consist Of?
According to Patricia, the free lunch will be pretty traditional: Turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, stuffing and a choice of a dinner roll or corn bread as well as a non alcoholic beverage.
This is a great opportunity to take all that stress away when it comes to prepping for Thanksgiving: Let the staff at Doug's handle everything. All you and your clan need to do is show up and grab a seat. I would guess that a line might begin early that day; you should plan for that.
Afterwards, you don't even have to worry about cleanup; you just have to get home and watch some NFL Football and make plans for your holiday shopping the next day.
