Why have only a seven-day week when 10 days is so much more? Downtown Fort Collins' Bon Appétit Week is back to treat your tastebuds.

It used to be called "Restaurant Week," but now it has a new name: Bon Appétit Week. It does sound more fun; not just eating at restaurants, you're eating great, unique menu options throughout the 10-day "week."

Fort Collins has many places to get delicious food, and downtown Fort Collins is a great area to find many without traveling all around town.

2023's event will be the second year for it being named Bon Appétit Week, with over 40 dining and drinks specials around Old Town and downtown Fort Collins.

WHEN IS FORT COLLINS BON APPÉTIT WEEK 2023?

The 10-day "week" of specials takes place from Nov. 10 through Nov. 19, 2023.

WHAT MAKES BON APPÉTIT WEEK IN FORT COLLINS SPECIAL?

The participating establishments will showcase their culinary creativity by offering unique dishes beyond their usual tasty fare. So, you may have been to these spots before, but you haven't tried what they'll have ready for you during Bon Appétit Week.

HOW MUCH ARE THE SPECIALS DURING BON APPÉTIT WEEK IN FORT COLLINS?

They'll have three different cost tiers:

• Under $20.
• $20-$49.
• $50 and more.

With the three different options, you can plan how you'll enjoy the event. Maybe a $30 lunch one day, a nice $60 dinner the next, and a great "Under $20" ice cream to cap things off.

The 2023 event will see a few more businesses taking part, including:

• La Piadina Flatbread Sandwiches
• Old Town Churn

WHAT'S ONE EXAMPLE FROM THE '$50 AND UP' OPTIONS FOR BON APPÉTIT WEEK?

The Melting Pot is one of the five places offering a unique dining experience in the "$50 and Up" range with their $52.95 four-course dinner that includes:

Entree with Pacific White Shrimp, Memphis Style BBQ Pork Tenderloin, Teriyaki Marinated Steak, Garlic Pepper Steak and Herb Crusted Chicken Breast including a medley of fresh vegetables and homemade dipping sauces.

WHAT'S ONE EXAMPLE FROM THE '$20-$49' OPTIONS FOR BON APPÉTIT WEEK?

Of the 13 spots with "$20-$49" options for the event is The Cache at Ginger and Baker in Old Town, which will feature a $21 one-course meal, including:

Grilled Venison Denver Leg served with sweet potato purée, grilled Travieso de radicchio, pomegranate demi, garnished with crispy carrots, and pomegranate seeds.

WHAT'S ONE EXAMPLE FROM THE 'UNDER $20' OPTIONS FOR BON APPÉTIT WEEK?

There will be about 24 specials with the "Under $20" option, including Ben & Jerry's in Old Town, which will be offering a $4.75 cookie sandwich:

M&M Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich. Pick a scoop of your favorite flavor to create an Ice Cream Sandwich.
