Colorado ranks among the top 5 U.S. states for alcohol consumption; maybe it's the higher elevation. With Colorado's thirst, it comes as no surprise that there are many liquor stores across state, including a very big one outside of Denver.

After 14 Years, Big Liquor Store in Littleton Got a New Owner

Off of E-470 and Bowles in Littleton, Colorado, you'll find a large shopping area; within that area, you'll find a very large liquor store, Bevy's. Bevy's was originally Tipsy's Liquor World, which opened in 2008; the owners of Heritage Wine & Liquor in Centennial purchased Tipsy's in 2022.

Piano Inside Colorado Liquor Store is Not "Do Not Touch"

I think maybe I'd heard of Tipsy's, but didn't know that they'd become Bevy's (as in "beverages") until a friend told me about a giant liquor store that has a grand piano inside. Apparently, the Pramberger piano dates back to when the store was still Tipsy's  When I visited the store and found the piano, I was surprised to find that customers are allowed to play it (30 minute limit.)

More Than Just a Baby Grand Inside Bevy's in Littleton

Being in radio, of course I had to track down a piano inside of a liquor store; but along with the piano I also found that Bevy's has a 1971 Chevy Chevelle SS right next to it. Both are by a giant fireplace inside the huge 87,000 square-foot store. They often have live music inside the store, such as the Jason Lee Band.

In years to come, the owner of Bevy's (there's also one in Parker) plans on bringing in a restaurant, a fine grocer and a coffee bar to go with the Littleton store.

MORE COLORADO - Artists That Surprisingly Haven't Played at Red Rocks

One of the most iconic venues in the entire world is right here in our very own backyard. Some of the biggest names have performed at Red Rocks. However, it's still not a feat that every single artist can accomplish.
