Favorite 'Looney Tunes' Characters in America

The 'Looney Tunes' have been around since 1930 and are a staple on American television. There are many iconic characters that the 'Looney Tunes' have introduced through the years, and there are many to choose from as your favorite. Perhaps the most iconic is Bugs Bunny, and according to a recent survey by coventrydirect.com, he is the most popular character in the country. According to the study, one-fifth of the country has him as their favorite character, with 10 states saying they prefer Bugs over any other character. The second most popular character, surprisingly, is Pepe Le Pew, with 8 states saying he is their favorite, and perhaps the most surprising is that Granny is the third most popular character, with 5 states saying she is their favorite character.

Colorado's Favorite 'Looney Tune' Character

Colorado agrees with 7 other states, as the Centennial State's favorite 'Looney Tunes' character is Pepe Le Pew. Other states that agreed with Colorado include Washington, Florida, New Hampshire, Missouri, Virginia, West Virginia, and also Washington DC. Other characters in the study included Road Runner, Tweety, Lola Bunny, Elmer Fudd, Porky Pig, and Yosemite Sam. Even Gossamer was the favorite character in two states. Perhaps the most shocking is the absence of iconic characters like Daffy Duck, Sylvester, and Wile E. Coyote. There are many characters to choose from, but some of the lesser-known characters took states where some of the more popular and iconic ones were left on the sidelines.
