Our family has frequent discussions about which person our dog Toby loves more. I say, it depends on who has the best treat. The rest of the family has another opinion.

This completely unscientific test proves, when put to the test, your family dog has a difficult time deciding who he's most comfortable with.

Most domesticated dogs are very social, so their favorite is typically the person or people who are around and whom they've bonded with.

There are situations where a dog may prefer one family member over another, especially if that person spends significantly more time with dog and is in charge of the feeding, exercise and play, obedience training and reward.

All things being relatively equal, your dog probably loves everyone. My family disagrees. They say our dog loves me a lot more than anyone else. Of course, that theory only holds true until someone else has a delicious treat. At that point, I'm quickly forgotten.
