How can you tell if your neighbor is a native Coloradan? Keep an eye out for these telltale signs. These Colorado traits are a dead giveaway.

Obviously, residents of other states do some of these things. Nobody except Coloradans, though, do ALL of them. Be on the lookout for each of these behaviors.

1. They're constantly asking you WHICH woodsy you'll be attending.

2. Wear shorts and flip-flops to shovel snow.

3. They have eight cars parked in the driveway, but only two legal drivers in the household (and all the cars are SUBARUS!)

4. They are oblivious to the knowledge the world offers other car manufacturers besides Subaru.

5. Their kids play in their underwear... 365 DAYS A YEAR!

6. They use railroad fixtures for decorations, even though they never worked for the railroad.

7. They think Salsa is its own food group.

If the descriptions above look familiar, it's more than likely you are living next to native Coloradans. One more giveaway: If they refer to themselves as ColoradOANS rather than ColoradANS chances are their family has lived here for generations.
