Grand Junction Gets First Glimpse at the New Community Hospital [PHOTOS]

As the grand opening draws near, Grand Junction is getting its first glimpse at the new Community Hospital

The new 140,000 square foot facility at 2351 G Road, just off of 24 Road, open it's new doors in mid-March, closing down the hospital and services on 12th Street, which has been purchased by Colorado Mesa University.

Among other things, the 54-bed hospital features multiple surgical units, a labor and delivery wing, oncology services, ICU, and an 18-room emergency room facility.

Community Hospital CEO Chris Thomas was kind enough to give a personal tour to Townsquare Media so we could display some photos of the new facility.

A community-wide open house will be conducted on Saturday, March 5 from 1PM-4PM, and the general public will be given guided tours to get a first-hand look at the new Community Hospital.
