Grand Junction Driving Ranges Finally Open

It's not spring, but it's time to swing! Spring does not officially arrive for another 6 1/2 weeks, but according to Punxsutawney Phil, we are getting an early spring this year. And, finally, in Grand Junction we have gotten out of that miserable inversion and  finally getting temperatures in the 40's. So, here's the good news for golfers. The Lincoln Park driving range is open today, for the first time in a long, long time. It's not quite like playing a round of golf, but it certainly is the next best thing. And if you're like me, you could use some range time before the new golf season officially gets underway. The range is open 10:00am-4:30pm and the Pro Shop is open from 9:30am-4:30pm.

The driving range at Chipeta Golf Course on Orchard Mesa is also open today, and will be open until 5:00. Just hop on 29 Road and head south and you will come to it, right before Highway 50.

With high temperatures in Grand Junction expected to be in the 40's this week, it's time to get those clubs out, grab a bucket of balls,  and start swinging.
