Grand Junction 12th Street to Be Closed For Two Nights

The City of Grand Junction plans to close 12th Street from Bookcliff Avenue to Patterson Road for two nights to complete a pavement overlay project.The 12th Street closure is planned for June 8 and 9 from 7 p.m. until 6:30 a.m. each day.

The closure will not affect the intersection at 12th and Patterson with the exception that motorists will not be able to turn south off Patterson onto 12th street.

City of Grand Junction officials plan to detour traffic onto 15th Street and Orchard Avenue during the closure. Motorists are asked to use the detour route or plan an alternate route if they travel in this area during the closure times.
