Governor Polis Extends School Closure to April 30
During his Wednesday press conference, Colorado's Governor Polis extended school closures until April 30.
Polis also made note that Colorado prepares to add 12,000 hospital beds by May to prepare for a potential surge of COVID-19 cases.
In the case of preparedness, Polis said the state has issued purchase orders for2.5 million N95 masks, 1 million surgical masks, 250,000 gowns, 750 ventilators.
Before today's press conference, schools in Colorado were closed until April 17.
