Don Henley's been busy with the release of the Eagles documentary, "History of the Eagles" and preparing for the band's 40th anniversary tour this summer, but somehow, he's also making time to finish a solo album and schedule at least one solo concert date. The show is in Atlantic City, New Jersey on February 1, the album is something he's been working on for about three years.

Henley told the Atlantic City Insiders the album will be released in May. He says, "It's a bit of a departure for me, so it'll be interesting to see how it's received." The record reportedly will include tunes that feature a country flavor. When asked about the possibility of a new Eagles album he said they haven't been working on anything but added, "We'll see how the tour goes."

Henley also responded to speculation about whether any former members of the Eagles might be involved in the 40th anniversary tour saying, "[Founding singer/guitarist] Bernie Leadon is the only ex-member we're considering at the moment."

The Eagles currently have only one show on their schedule, March 23 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The tour is expected to officially kick-off this summer.
