Disturbing Video Shows Mother of Young Child Completely ‘Out of It’

This disturbing video shows a mother and her young child riding the bus in Philadelphia. During the ride, the mother slumped over, unable to sit up and completely out of it. But that's not the worst part.

The worst, or rather, saddest part of this is the fact the child is the only one who seems interested in helping this woman. Sure, it appears she's high on drugs or alcohol, but what if she's suffering from total exhaustion or some unknown medical condition?

It's frightening to think someone could be in distress and no one would stop to offer some assistance or even check on the child. It's truly a sad commentary to the state of our society.
