Custom License Plate Auction Raises Thousands in Colorado
We all enjoy the creativity that some vanity license plates give us, but how much would you pay for one?
That question was answered recently as Colorado placed a few vanity plates up for auction to raise money for disability programs in Colorado.
Over two dozen plates were auctioned off with some real creative plates included. These plates were able to raise almost $24,000 for disability programs.
The plate with the largest bid was MCLAREN and it raised $6,000. Other plates that were auctioned off were 911 (which raised $900) and BENTLEY. The auction took place in Denver on Saturday at the Vehicle Vault Car Museum.
There are a few I think are pretty cool, but my favorite vanity plate that was auctioned off was L8L8L8. If you see this plate on the roads of Colorado at least you know why it's moving fast.
