According to Mesa County Public Health, here are currently 61 positive cases of COVID-19 in Mesa County, which is the highest it's ever been. In the last two weeks, there have 155 positive cases of coronavirus in thin Mesa County.

Unfortunately, there have been five deaths due to COVID-19 in Mesa County and there is currently one person that is hospitalized because of it. It appears that coronavirus is affecting mostly women in Mesa County, according to Mesa County Public Health. 54% of positive COVID-19 cases are female and here are the four demographics with the most cases:

  • #1 - 20-29 years old
  • #2 - 40-49 years old
  • #3 - 50-59 years old
  • #4 - 30-39 years old

There's been a total of 670 positive cases of COVID-19 in Mesa County and 544 of those have recovered. In Mesa County, a total of 34,460 COVID-19 tests have been taken.

Mesa County Public Health has categorized cases by category of exposure and exposure from a family member and an unknown origin of exposure are the two most popular categories.
