A Grand Junction handyman had a huge setback to his business when thieves stole a large number of tools he needed to get work done for his clients.

The theft happened on Thursday, November 9, sometime between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The criminals cut the padlock on a storage shed in the backyard of a home in the 2800 block of Valentino Way.

After breaking into the shed, the suspects took over $16,000 worth of items including two chainsaws, numerous hand and power tools, and other items typically used by the victim for his handyman business.
