Colorado Resort Getting Ready to Hire Employees – Lots of Them

Is it time for a different gig? A new Colorado resort is getting ready to hire employees, and by that, I don't mean one or two.

The Gaylord Rockies Resort is looking to open for business by late 2018. Between now and then, they need to hire employees. How many? According to Fox 31 News, the resort has more than 1,500 positions available.

Seriously? More than 1,500 employees are needed? How big is this place? The Gaylord Rockies Resort is a 500,000-square-foot convention center, equipped with a 17-room spa, various restaurants and bars, and more than 1,500 hotel rooms, all on an 86-acre site.

This place can't run itself. According to Fox 31 News, upon opening, this will be Colorado's largest hotel.

What positions are they looking to fill? Everything from sales, food, beverage, security, maintenance, and marketing. How do you apply? I checked out the site. The list of available jobs was five pages long. The resort will host recruitment and hiring events beginning mid-to-late 2018.

If you're on the Western Slope, pursuing this opportunity would involve relocating. The resort is located just ten minutes from Denver International Airport.
