Colorado Mesa University’s fall sports teams, for the most part, are in full swing this season. However, some of CMU’s sports teams are preparing to finish up the fall season this weekend.

The Mavericks men’s and women’s tennis teams will finish their fall season this weekend in Grand Junction. All matches will take place at the Elliott Tennis Center on the CMU campus.

The women’s tennis team will host Colorado Christian at 6:00 p.m. today (Thursday), followed by Dixie State at 2:00 p.m. Friday and Colorado State University-Pueblo at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

The men’s tennis team will also host Colorado Christian at 6:00 p.m. today (Thursday) before taking on Metro State at 2:00 p.m. Friday. The Mavericks will have two matches on Saturday, starting with Montana State-Billings at 8:30 a.m. and finishing with Colorado State-Pueblo at 1:30 p.m.

In other games this weekend:

WOMEN’S SOCCER – Colorado Mesa will be on the road this weekend as the Lady Mavs travel to Gunnison and Colorado Springs. CMU takes on Western State Colorado at 2:00 p.m. Friday, and University of Colorado-Colorado Springs at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

MEN’S SOCCER – Colorado Mesa is at home this weekend, hosting #12 Metro State at 7:00 p.m. Friday, followed by Colorado Christian at 1:00 p.m. Sunday. Both games are at Walker Field on the CMU campus, 12TH Street and Orchard Avenue in Grand Junction.

WOMEN’S RUGBY – The Lady Mavs are travelling to Colorado Springs for a pair of games this weekend. Colorado Mesa starts the weekend against Colorado College at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, followed by Colorado-Colorado Springs at 11:00 a.m. Sunday.

VOLLEYBALL – Like most of the teams this weekend, Colorado Mesa’s volleyball team is on the road this weekend. The Lady Mavs will be in Pueblo on Friday to take on Colorado State-Pueblo at 7:00 p.m., and then on Saturday, CMU takes on Western State Colorado in Gunnison for a 7:00 p.m. game.

FOOTBALL – The Mavericks are traveling to Spearfish, South Dakota for their game against Black Hills State. Game time is at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, and all the play-by-play action can be heard on ESPN Radio 1230 beginning at 12:30 p.m.
