DENVER (AP) — Colorado law enforcement agencies have been advised to be on the lookout for suspicious activity after the bombings in Boston.

The statewide alert from the Colorado Information Analysis Center was issued within an hour and a half of the bombings that killed at least three people.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Lance Clem says the alert provided information to law enforcement based on national media reports.

Denver police say there are no known links or threats to the metro area.
