CDC Says Vaccinated People Can Gather Without Masks
If you've received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine) you can now gather with other fully vaccinated people without masks, according to the CDC.
The CDC has great news for people who have been fully vaccinated. According to KDVR, fully vaccinated people are now able to gather indoors without wearing maks or social distancing.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a person is considered full vaccinated after:
- They have received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine
- Or one dose of a single-dose vaccine (such as the Johnson & Johnson Janssen vaccine)
- It's been two weeks since you've received the last dose
The CDC has also provided a list of things that have changed for people who have been vaccinated. Fully vaccinated people can gather indoors without wearing a mask or social distancing. People who are fully vaccinated can also gather indoors with unvaccinated people from one household.
If you're fully vaccinated and have been exposed to COVID 19, you don't have to stay away from others/get tested unless they have symptoms, according to the CDC. (Unless you live in a group setting such as a correctional facility.)
Although somethings have changed for fully vaccinated people, according to the CDC, some things haven't. The CDC says that fully vaccinated people should still social distance, wear a mask, and avoid crowds/poorly ventilated spaces while in public.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention still recommends delaying domestic and international travel and you find more recommendations from the CDC for fully vaccinated people here.
