Bushy Brows Bandit Strikes Again
Five bank robberies across three Colorado counties in less than a month have authorities scratching their heads and trying to identify the man whose image has been captured on surveillance video cameras.
The latest in the string of bank robberies dating back to January 18, happened February 11 at a US Bank in Jefferson County. After looking at surveillance footage, investigators have determined the same suspect is responsible for robberies at four other banks in the Denver Metro area.
Look At the Eyebrows
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office says the suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 30-40 years old, about 5'6", heavy build -- and most notably - thick eyebrows. Subsequently, he's been tabbed the 'Bushy Brows Bandit.'
Five Bank Robberies, One Suspect
According to reports, the man has gone into five different banks, threatening a weapon -- but, apparently, no weapon has been seen. Two of the robberies have occurred in Jefferson County, two in Douglas County, and one in El Paso County.
